A fine Victorian silver half pint tankard in the Georgian style, the top with a moulded edge over a baluster shaped body with a double S scroll cast and applied handle with a textured acanthus leaf thumbpiece, with a gilded interior and raised on a turned spreading foot. London 1863 by Robert Harper. Condition: Overall very good, the piece is in excellent condition with no damage or scratches, there are two tiny dents on the lower half of the body but of no significance, it has never been engraved, the gilding inside is in good condition with little wear, the marks are well struck and clearly legible, and overall it has a lovely appearance.
