A late Qing Dynasty porcelain famille rose vase and cover, the domed cover with floral knop and decorated with Oriental motifs: lanterns, vases, flowers and a floral border; fitted to a broad inverted baluster shaped body decorated with a necklace of floral motifs around the top, and with vases, tables, trees and stylised butterflies over a band of stripes in yellow, mauve and cyan around the base. Chinese, made for the export market, circa 1890. Condition: Excellent, the vase is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or losses to the enamels, overall it is a charming piece with great scale and colours. Height = 36 cm (14”)
