Description This is a very stylish antique arts and crafts writing desk. The wood is likely ash and this super table has previously been attributed as Liberty & Co. Surviving from the first decade of the 20th century, it has aged very well indeed. This piece would make a beautiful little hall table in its own right but also works as a desk. The felt lined desktop folds away neatly and can be flipped out when required. The drawer is designed to support the desktop and has stops in place internally to facilitate this function. So many little design highlights on this piece, including splayed legs and a useful shelf below. And isn’t the little stained glass cupboard so appealing. This beautiful piece is structurally sound and in very nice condition with, as you’d expect, some signs of age and use. Chair not included. The key for the drawer is no longer present.
