No: 10565A George II Period Mahogany single drop leaf side table, the rectangular top opening to reveal a large well, the drop leaf supported by both swing out legs on a double gate action, the cross grain frieze raised on turned legs with pad feet.Circa 1750Price: £1,500-00p.Height: 27.5”, 70 cms / Width: 32”, 81.5 cms / Depth: 16.5 < 32”, 42 < 81.5 cms.Attribution: Although tables of this sort, occasional tables, would have been made by a number of cabinetmakers throughout the United Kingdom, there are several strictly comparable examples by Alexander Peter of Edinburgh made for Dumfries House.
