Description A super pair of Stag bedside tables. These vintage bedside chests of drawers are little retro classics. With 3 drawers each they offer plenty of bedside storage and benefit from those stylishly shaped drawer pulls. Stag Furniture was founded in Nottingham in 1906 and became one of Britain’s most successful furniture manufacturers during the mid-20th century. Initially producing traditional bedroom furniture, the company rose to prominence in the 1950s and 60s when it embraced modern design influences. Working with designers John and Sylvia Reid, Stag launched popular ranges such as C-Range and the hugely successful Minstrel range in 1964. These collections combined clean lines, teak veneers and affordability, making them staples in British homes. Although production declined in the late 20th century, Stag furniture remains highly regarded today for its quality, durability and classic mid-century style.
