Period: Regency AntiquesCirca 1880. A good Regency style gilded convex mirror. The top surmounted by a classic gilded eagle with outspread wings with his talons clasping a rocky base. The convex mirror contained in a gilded slip with ribbing around the mirror, gilded balls and a moulded fore-edge. The double base with a demi lune section of dragooning with another carved section behind it, with waves and ridges and a small cluster of fruit on the bottom. 78cm High, 45cm Dia.
